Design of sigma-delta digital-to-analog converter in CMOS technology
Soukup, Luděk ; Pristach, Marián (referee) ; Fujcik, Lukáš (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the issue of digital to analog conversion and possibility of its realization in digital circuits. Goal of this project is to design sigma-delta digital to analog converter with resolution of 14 bits and frequency band (0 ÷ 20) kHz. Main functional blocks: interpolator and modulator sigma-delta will be realized like digital structures. Reconstruction filter will be realized like an analog structure. For design a check of parameters of designed converter programs MATLAB and Simulink are used. Designed digital structures will be described by VHDL language.
Automatic detection of tool fracture in metal sheet punching
Kluz, Jan ; Rajchl, Matej (referee) ; Brablc, Martin (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with the design and subsequent implementation of the realtime fault detection system during the sheet metal punching process with a tool of small dimensions (0.5 × 12 mm). The proposed system is important for significant ease of the operator's work, acceleration of the process of production, as well as saving of the company finance budget. The first part of this thesis deals with the theoretical background of the studied issue. The following part is a brief theoretical introduction to the field of digital signal processing. The next chapter presents methods developed for fault signals detection including speed enhancing and data flow reducing algorithms. The main examined methods were: frequency peaks, frequency bands, autocorrelation, frequency correlation methods and machine learning including deep machine learning. Deep machine learning of the neural network achieved the best results overall. Features from time and frequency domain were used for purposes of creating the classification model using machine learning. The possibility of developing the predictive maintenance system is also described, including research of this area in a modern industry. Subsequently, the achieved results and their evaluation are presented. The end of this thesis is dedicated to the description of the implementation of classification system into realtime form and connecting this system to the punching press computer using Arduino Uno microcontroller and basic signal control electronics. The proposed system has been successfully assembled, tested and put into on-site testing.
FFT implementation in FPGA and ASIC
Dvořák, Vojtěch ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Fujcik, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design the implementation of fast Fourier transform algorithm, which can be used in FPGA or ASIC circuits. Implementation will be done in Matlab and then this form of implementation will be used as a reference model for implementation of fast Fourier transform algorithm in VHDL. To verify the correctness ofdesign verification enviroment will be created and verification process wil be done. Program that will generate source code for various parameters of the module performing a fast Fourier transform will be created in the last part of this thesis.
Implementation of Simple Speech Recognizer in a Web Browser
Crkoň, Jakub ; Glembek, Ondřej (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
The goal of this project is to implement simple speech recognizer for web browser. This paper describes fundamental components required for implementing speech recognizer and techniques which are used for optimization process of speech recognition in web browser. At first, the paper focuses on introduction of speech recognition theory. It describes individual parts and principles of speech recognizer. In next section, thesis describes design, implementation and principles of acceleration of speech recognizer with limited computing resources of web browser. The implementation is divided into modules making up the library for usage in web browser. The library is easily extendable and usable in various web applications. Finally, it discusses potential directions of development and usability of this project.

This work deal with processing digital signal and their processing by the help of Matlabu and Simulinku. They will here parsed basic kinds processing signals and will here shown basic work in programmes Matlab and Simulink with they will shown simple example work in programmes. This work will serve as theoretic base for Bachelor´s thesis.
Web-Based Demonstration of Linear Filtering
Novotný, Ondřej ; Bařina, David (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a demonstration application of discrete linear filtering. The introductory section summarizes the theory of digital filtering and filter design. The following chapter describes the existing applets. Subsequently, the concept of the demonstration and its implementation are described. The final part contains tutorial examples of using the demonstration and summary of users' reactions.
Current sensor with digitized output signal
Hanuš, Ivan ; Vágner, Martin (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is to describe principles of measuring of alternating current in low voltage power supply network with Rogowski coil and to study details of requirements for electronic current sensor with digital output. Furthermore to study the current solution of digitalization of output signal from Rogowski coil and to determine metrological characteristics of the digitalization module for processing the signal from the Rogowski coil as current sensor and to design a concept of an electronic current sensor unit with Rogowski coil and the digitalization module with the expected optical output. The theoretical part deals with the measurement of current using Rogowski coil, its characteristics and advantages compared to conventional current transformers. Further in the thesis there are specified the requirements for current sensor. The practical part deals with the design of digitalization module consisting of a pair of AD converters, a microcontroller and output circuits. Furthermore, the thesis deals with digital signal processing of signal from Rogowski coil. Furthermore, the thesis describes firmware for microcontroller and PC application. The result of thesis is functional circuit of electronic current sensor that processes signal from Rogowski coil and converts it to digital form.

Digital signal processing from MEMS microphones
Koníček, Cyril ; Pristach, Marián (referee) ; Fujcik, Lukáš (advisor)
Proposed bachelor thesis is focused to the filter design for digital signal processing from digital microphone (MEMS type). The microphone types, structure of AMDP421 digital microphone and digital filter types are described in details. Selected filters are modelled, designed and simulated in MATLAB tool to meet the filter specification. The results are sufficiently commented and assessed. Afterwards the digital filters are described in VHDL language and implemented to the target FPGA circuit. In frame of the work the extended modules to SPARTAN 3 STARTER KIT are developed and designed to evaluate and demonstrate the proper function of the proposed filter design.
